Chiropractic - Healing From Within

Have you ever seen a bored newborn? Of course not. Babies radiate awe, joy, wonder, vitality, energy, life and rejuvenation. It’s their natural state. It is your natural state too. You are always in touch with the magic of life. Even the most ill person retains a healing ability: cut their skin, they’ll bleed and begin healing. If there’s life, there’s still a spark of healing, of hope.
We chiropractors do not put anything in your body – no drugs, no vaccinations and we don’t take anything out of your body - no surgery. Instead we release a serious form of stress locked in your body called a “vertebral subluxation” that prevents you from functioning at your best. Subluxations in your spine can affect the nerves that regulate your immune system, digestive system, elimination system – all your body systems – because subluxations interfere with communication between your nerve system, brain, spinal nerves and internal organs. If you have a subluxation in your spine you cannot function at your physical and mental best.

Chiropractors correct or release subluxations using specialized procedures called spinal adjustments. For over a century people suffering from all kinds of conditions who were told to “learn to live with it” have returned to health under chiropractic care. And yet chiropractic isn’t for diseases, it’s for people – to release blockages between you and the life always wishing to flow through you and heal you.
Please don’t leave your children and your parents home to get sick while you are coming in for subluxation correction and getting healthy. Make chiropractic a family affair! You’ll all be happier and healthier for it.

Words of Wisdom

The most basic of all human needs is the need to understand and be understood. The best way to understand people is to listen to them.
– Ralph Nichols

If you think you're too small to have an impact try going to bed with a mosquito in the room.
– Anita Koddick

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them,
you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Chiropractic Patients Are Healthier, Have Less Stress and Enjoy Life More

Research is revealing what many chiropractic practice members have known for decades: they are healthier. 2,818 chiropractic patients filled out extensive surveys before beginning and during chiropractic care. Significant improvements in physical health and mental/emotional health were revealed. They also reported decreased stress and increased life enjoyment. The benefits became evident as early as 1-3 months under care and showed continuing improvement as long as patients stayed under care. There was no apparent plateau, meaning the more chiropractic, the more the benefit. (1)

Millions of Elderly Take Harmful Drugs
To live by medicine is to live horribly.
– Carl von Linne

According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, more than one in five elderly Americans living on their own (7 million people) take a medication that could put them at risk for injuries and illness. Also nearly 3% used a medication that elderly people should always avoid, including certain sedatives, long-acting drugs to bring down blood sugar levels, pain relievers and drugs to quell nausea. The numbers are probably much higher because the researchers did not examine interactions between drugs, interactions between drugs and diseases, the misuse of drugs not on the list or the under use of effective drugs. (2) And that is one reason why….

Elderly Turning to Chiropractic

More and more elderly are exploring chiropractic and other approaches. Almost one in three of those 65

and older said they used alternative health care. Chiropractic, herbal remedies, relaxation and vitamins were frequently used. More than half said they did not mention it their medical doctor. (3)

Vaccination Information

Every state (and all of Canada and the UK) permits people to refuse vaccinations for themselves and their children and still be permitted to go to school. It’s Getting Better?

“Every generation has underestimated the potential for finding new recipes and ideas. We consistently fail to grasp how many ideas remain to be discovered…Possibilities do not add up. They multiply.” (4)
Are we running out of forest? No, there’s more! In 1920, US forests covered 732 million acres. Today they cover 737 million acres.
Are we running out of oil? Nope, there’s still lots. In 1970, Ecologist Kenneth Watt said, “By the year 2000, if present trends continue…there won’t be any more crude oil.” However a 1999 US Geological Survey estimate of crude oil reserves showed that at 2.1 trillion barrels, there was enough to supply the world for the next 90 years at current consumption rates.
Is air getting more polluted? No, it’s getting cleaner. Life Magazine, Jan. 1970: “In a decade, urban dwellers will have to wear gas masks to survive air pollution.” US Environmental Protection Agency, 1998: “Since 1970, total US population increased 29 percent…[and] vehicle miles traveled increased 121%…during that same period, notable reductions in air quality concentrations and emissions took place.”

From actual medical records as dictated by physicians:
“By the time he was admitted, his rapid heart had stopped, and he was feeling better.”
“Patient has chest pain if she lies on her left side for over a year.”
“On the second day the knee was better and on the third day it had completely disappeared.”
“The patient has been depressed ever since she began seeing me in 1983.”
“The patient is tearful and crying constantly. She also appears to be depressed.”
“Discharge status: Alive but without permission.”
“Healthy-appearing decrepit sixty-nine-year-old male, mentally alert but forgetful.”
“The patient refused an autopsy.”
“The patient has no past history of suicides.”
“The patient expired on the floor uneventfully.”
“Patient has left his white blood cells at another hospital.”
“She slipped on the ice and apparently her legs went in separate directions in early December.”
